NEW FOOD CONTROL OFFICE

Hutchison Ajman International Terminals (HAJT) along with the Department of Ports and Customs - Ajman (DPC) and the Municipality and Planning Department - Ajman celebrated the opening of a new Food Control office at the Ajman Port premises. This initiative came as part of HAJT and DPC continuous effort to facilitate the process of custom clearance to better serve our customers. We pay close attention to customers’ needs and work hard to improve our services to the level that meets their satisfaction and exceeds their expectations. The new Food Control office will facilitate the clearance procedures and will reduce the time needed for it, which will reflect positively on our services and will further improve the experience of our food and beverage customers at Ajman Port. Some of the services that the Food Control office at Ajman Port will provide are: 1. Issuing release certificates for imported food shipments 2. Issuing food export certificates 3. Issuing health certificates 4. Issuing food destruction certificates
